Our first product development is the Sail & Kite Coating. It is not a conventional impregnation but a canvas coating that completely changes the surface properties of the material. The cloths become water-repellent, airtight, smooth and allow the sails to glide better. This means less weight, faster manoeuvres and less wear and tear.

The brand "Sail & Kite" was created in March 2017. It is part of Nanoprotect GmbH in Düsseldorf, which has been manufacturing, developing and selling material protection products since 2003. From the very beginning, the focus was on the marine sector. Years of experience and internationally oriented structures provide an ideal basis for the necessary development and production capacities of the future Sail & Kite products. We got a lot of things to do !
* The data was collected in a combination of scientific tests and field tests. Comparisons were made between untreated sail cloths with identical canvases that had a Sail & Kite coating. The drying times were measured at 23°C and 46% humidity.
